The historic Miami Boat Club was founded in 1897 as the Island Canoe Club. The group became the Miami Club in 1907 and was later renamed The Miami Boat Club. The Miami Boat Club is a social organization which enjoys a rich past including some of the greatest names in jazz, noted Cincinnati members, and a thriving current membership.
